[Messy messy messy]

Hey there
so my closet & room are an absolute mess right now.
And i thought what a better time than now to spring clean it
So i looked up some ways i could make my room and closet less messy all the time.
I found a lot of different things to do on pinterest and tumblr.

(not my closet btw)

CLUTTERED CLOSET
So first off!
-Get rid of anything that is to tight or to big, yes ladies that means everything and anything that doesnt flatter ourselves
I got rid of a ton of things that i still had from when i was younger that were stuffed in the backs of my drawers lol
-throw out those old kicks and anything that looks like its been through hell and back and anything that has gone out of style.
-worn out underwear, socks, bathing suits, & your bras need to find their way to the trashcan, this gives you the opportunity to go buy some more in the store! Its a win win really!

Secondly!
-Get organized! Move your clothes around to where they make the closet look spacious, so move those heavy coats to the back of the closet so that it doesnt make it look cluttered.
-COLOR ORGANIZE! I live for color organizing my closet, It makes everything so much easier to find. white, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet, black.
-Organize it by season, or by style. I organize my closet it by style, Top left of my closet is dresses so that they arent dragging on the ground, top right is winter wear, jackets and sweaters. Bottom left is my dressy clothes, and bottom right is normal everyday shirts. I got lucky with having a “designers closet” in this house.
-donate to your local goodwill, What evers in your closet that is still wearable you can donate it for free and someone else can wear it and put it to good use.
Love love love goodwill clothes

Thirdly!
-use bins and pop up baskets to store your jeans, pajamas, etc. If you lack the space in your drawers, or dont even have drawers, they are really nice to have.
-get a shoe storage rack or one of those hanging ones. Those can be used for more than just your shoes if you have the space, ex: leggings, shorts, or anything small and easy to fold.
-Put in shelves if you need to have more space. These are perfect for storing those bins and shoes.
-If you already have shelves in your closet try putting the bins at the top full of seasonal not being used currently clothes. This makes it easy to change your closet from season to season without having to take up the whole closet.
-If you have purses or backpacks put them on hangers and put those in the back of the closet along with those bulky jackets, or if you switch purses or back packs a lot try investing in a hook to put them on that can go over the closet door or your bed room door, you can use a wreathe hanger! Those can easily be found at joanns or walmart. Simple easy and effective.

So that is the last for the closet portion of this post
The next post will be on how to control your rooms messyness and to keeping that makeup desk area clean day to day (:
Stay tuned!
